PU TOPCOAT MATT WHITE is a premium polyurethane-pigmented lacquer based on modified saturated polyester resins and special additives, to provide a smooth and satin finish with excellent resistance to mechanical and chemical stress. It has extreme surface hardness and good scratch resistance

PU TOPCOAT MATT WHITE is excellent for wood furniture such as beds, tabletops, cabinets, chairs, sofas, doors, and frames

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry - 20 – 30 min.
• Tack free - 30 – 45 min.
• Recoat - 1 – 2 hours

Surface Preparation: :

Surface to be top coated must be primed with PU Primer White or Polyester Primer White. It should be cleaned, well–sanded and free from dust, oil water and other contaminants. To a well–prepared surface, apply 1-2 coats of PU TOPCOAT MATT WHITE horizontally and vertically.

One or two coats may be sufficient for an ordinary finish; however, to obtain a good finish, the additional coat can be applied wet to wet if necessary. Light sanding with 400-600 grit sandpaper is recommended before subsequent coat when recoating exceeds 3 hrs. And remove traces of wax,Full hardness can be achieved after 3 days after the application.

Storage:

Shelf life of 12 months minimum if stored below 250C.

Cleaning of Tools:

All tools should be cleaned with Wash Thinner or PU Thinner as soon as possible.

Precautions:

PU TOPCOAT MATT WHITE and Catalyst TX-72 do not contain dangerous solvents, nevertheless, good ventilation in working rooms is recommended as well as the use of safety tools and equipment. PU TOPCOAT MATT WHITE is flammable and harmful if swallowed. If contact with eyes or skin occurs, wash well with fresh water and seek immediate medical advice.
